A downloadable project

For People that just want to try a fun new Hobby OS with Games,

Flash the ISO with Rufus on USB and boot a PC.

But emulator is faster and work with recommended graphics, easiert to start.

See in the Forums all Details, but you would not need to read much, if you just want to enjoy and find our yourself about TrueOS §.

By default AI is off, but there is a Roadmap to enable it at a later time. Therefore i already tagged it.

Install instructions

Download the iso, then:

Install Emulator and Zip

sudo apt install qemu-system ovmf p7zip

Run TRUE OS

qemu-system-x86_64 -bios /usr/share/ovmf/OVMF.fd -enable-kvm -cpu host,host-phys-bits=true \ -display gtk,gl=on -device virtio-gpu-gl-pci,xres=1280,yres=800 \ -smp cores=3 \ -m 500M \ -cdrom trueos.iso 

Or use RUFUS to make a life usb stick with the ISO
